God’s Witness Moving Forward
Series: Ekklesia
The Apostles Creed is is a great summation of faith. It is obvious that the intent of the Apostles Creed is to proclaim, to refute, to distance from all other claims that God as Jesus and the Holy Spirit calls people to Him to save them for an eternal life with God. What a message. Sign me up.

Why Is It All About Jesus
    Series: Ekklesia
This title is meant to call a person to make a decision. When a person hears the name of Jesus, there is a decision to be made. This is true for Believers and non-believers. Those who have not surrendered to God know that they have a choice to make. For Believers, there is a constant presence to bring forth all for which He stands.

John 3:16-18   16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.  17 "For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him." This verse highlights the mission of God as Jesus. The mission ends at the Cross, the Resurrection, the Commissioning and the Ascension.  The incarnation was for the whole world. God's incarnation gives everyone the opportunity to join the Lord for eternity in His Heaven.

    Series: Ekklesia
.There is now known to exist over 6000 witness (text on Papyrus, parchment or velum) to the New Testament in whole books or portions. The earliest is from the last decade of the first century or the first decades of the second century (John 18:31-33 and  37-38) called P52. The P stands for Papyrus.  These manuscripts are studied by scholars around the world. There are no contradictions to the incarnation of God, the life of Jesus, the Cross, the Resurrection, The Ascension, or the ministry of the apostles. There are a few questions concerning the ending of the book of Mark 16:9-20 and a few other areas but these have no impact on the total truth of God’s Word. Of course, God’s Word is a complete document and every letter or book is woven into the whole.

    God’s Pourpose For The Church
    Series: Mark
What defines the Church and those in the Church, the Congregation, the called-out ones, Assembly of Believers, Greek: Ekklesia, Fellowship, Community of Faith, members of the Way? Over the centuries, the word in English “church” used in translating the Greek “Ekklesia” transferred the visual from a group of people to a building, a place of meeting. To a large degree, this shift took the focus off the individual as the body of Believers that constituted a congregation to the idea that a building (complete with officials) was somewhat necessary to have a real Christian presence. To a public viewing from the outside, the components that make the flesh and bones, hearts and minds shifted to stone, brick, wood and officials.
